It's a wand-like, laser-enabled device that scans tire and brake disc surfaces to determine the condition and need for service or replacement. The TBE200 provides wear analysis and displays the analysis and service recommendations on its 1.65-inch-high resolution Super Retina touchscreen AMOLED display. The full-color graphical display illustrates wear and provides service recommendations, including tire and brake disc replacement, tire rotation, and 4-wheel alignment.

Tire Tread Depth & Brake Disc Wear Meet Your Needs
Tire Tread Depth:
Using laser technology, the Tire Tread application analyzes the wear of the tires on vehicles with no need to remove the tires. Place the tool on the tire, and the tool projects a laser beam. The wear measurement is then sent to the display screen with an accuracy within 0.1mm. Measurements are also displayed graphically. The Tire Tread application provides two types of checks: “All Treads” and “Single.” When using this application, a message will display prompting user to choose between the current mode the alternative one.
Brake Disc Check:
This function allows the Brake rotor surface wear to be measured independent of the tire tread depth measuring functions. In the order displayed on the tool. Place the tool’s magnetic tip on the rotor 90 degrees so the laser will span from the hub and the edge of the disc. Swiping left will display the information for each brake rotor. 0.1 refers to the amount of surface wear on the brake rotor. 1/10TH of a millimeter. The typical threshold for replacement is 1.0 mm of material worn off the surface. These rotors are in great condition.

- STEP 1: Long press the power button to turn on the tool.
- STEP 2: Perform Tire Tread Check: On the Main Job screen, tap the Tread Check icon, and place the tool on the tire surface. Short press the power button. Ensure the laser line is perpendicular to the channels of the tire. The screen will display real-time measurement data, slide left to view details.
- STEP 3: Possible Results for Measurements: Wear status is represented by icon color: A gray icon indicates the tire is untested; green indicates the tire is in good condition

‣ STEP 1: ACCOUNT CREATION AND TOOL REGISTRATION
(If you've already created an account AND registered the device, skip to STEP 2.)
To create an account click or visit: https://pro.autel.com/login.html.
After creating an account, or if you already have one, visit the same link as above and sign in.
If you are signing in for the first time, you will be asked to register your tool. If you already have an account, click on Product Registration on the left side of the page and fill in the information required.
• Kindly NOTE: The Register Password is a 6-digit code found in your device on the “About” screen.
‣ STEP 2: DOWNLOADING AND INSTALLING MAXI PC SUITE
(FOR WINDOWS USERS ONLY)

Once downloaded, open the file and click on Setup to begin the installation. Follow the installation prompts.
Once you have clicked Finish on the installation you should find the Maxi PC Suite program icon on your desktop. Open Maxi PC Suite and continue to the next step.
•Kindly NOTE: Older PC's may not have the program necessary to open .zip files. You may need to download a free .zip extractor to open this file type.
‣ STEP 3: CONNECTING AND UPDATING YOUR TOOL
Once Maxi PC Suite is open, connect your tool to your PC and set the tool to Update Mode. Depending on your tool model Update Mode can be found on the Home Screen or in the My Device menu.
Maxi PC Suite should now connect to your tool. Log in if you are prompted to do so.
•Kindly NOTE: Before beginning any updates, make sure the serial number (displayed on the left side of the window) matches the serial number on the back of your tool.
WHILE UPDATING, DO NOT HANDLE THE TOOL OR CABLE.
‣ STEP 4: CHECK THE MARKET SETTING BEFORE USE
After the update is complete and Maxi PC Suite displays ‘No Available Updates’ you can unplug the tool from your PC.
In your tool go to Settings (found under My Device on TS408/TS508/TS508WF) and check the Market option. MAKE SURE IT IS SET TO AMERICA. If it is not, change the Market to America before using the tool.
Once these steps are finished, the update is complete and you can use your tool.
*The TS508WF is capable of two software update methods: via Wi-Fi without a PC or via PC as explained above. If you update a TS508WF via Wi-Fi we recommend the tool is plugged into a power source to avoid draining the battery.
